At one time I was working overtime with decent pay and happy. That is the past. With the virtual extinction of the Automotive Engineering field here in Michigan, I have been through some very hard times, losing a house, and living with the stress of not being able to give my wife financial security, much less paying our monthly bills. But what is life without a little struggle to let you know you are alive once in a while right?

I finished three courses at S3 Studios to learn the Film Industry in Michigan and have an opportunity to break into the industry. Very enjoyable classes. The field trips they take you on will depend on what is available at the time. I was lucky enough to visit the set of Detroit-187, the crime drama being shot here in Detroit.

Recently I finally got my first real experience on a set. I was a Set PA for a kids TV show called "The Wannabes". It is a Disney like show about a teen pop group in a school for the arts. At this time it is showing in Australia and they are hoping it will be picked up here in America. The kids are amazing! Every one of them were absolutely polite and kind in every word they spoke to anyone that I saw. They have great voices and I once heard them sing a song A-cappella. Wow! Unfortunately the gig only lasted me three weeks, enough time to pay my rent late and now I am back to desperation mode as I look for work and a way to pay my next rent in a few weeks.

I am looking for work, but there is not much out there in Michigan as it is. My wife just got a job and then ended up in the hospital with a bowel obstruction. Thank God it was not quite to the point of needing surgery, but the doctor was iffy on that at first.

We really need help.

1) More than ANYTHING, I would ask everyone to pray for us. There can be no greater help than that of God opening doors and supplying for us.

2) If anyone is doing well financially, I would appreciate the donation. But please, ONLY do so if it is not going to cause you any kind of struggle.

3) If anyone has any connections here in the Tr0y/Royal Oak areas of Michigan who might be able to offer me some work while I work on getting into the Film Industry, I would truly appreciate that. If you can get me in a film or television show as a set PA, I would love that!

4) I can use any links to my blogs spread out there for me. The more readers I get, the more who might actually click on the ads and I might make a little money that way. So the more my blogs are advertised, the better chance I have of succeeding.

If you would like to get a better idea of who I am, feel free to view my other blogs, listed in the upper right side of this window.
